01 The Challenge

So, here's the deal…

We've got a Hill. And we're challenging you to climb it.

Located in Pyalong, just 90 minutes from Melbourne. You'll be assigned your own rest and refuel station beneath the shadow of the Hill, free to deck out however you need to sustain you between laps. A sheltered camping setup, a hydration station, or a full base of operations for your support team.

Last year's King of The Hill livestream ran for an unbelievable 90 consecutive hours, capturing every brutal lap and gritty moment as over 100,000 viewers tuned in from across Australia and beyond. From sunset suffering to delirious midnight interviews, it became one of the most talked-about endurance broadcasts of the year.

In 2026, we're pushing the limits again -- more cameras, more coverage, and even more carnage from The Hill.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

We're taking everything you loved about the first year and turning it up a notch!

More Money & Prizes -- Not just for the winner. More opportunities for everyone to take home cash and awards, like fastest laps, last female standing, last male standing, milestone bonuses, and strategic withdrawal prizes.

Bigger Festival Vibes -- We're adding more DJs, live speakers, giveaways, and even a tattoo artist to create a full experience for athletes and spectators alike.

Even Better Coverage -- Expect improved livestreams, more cameras, and in-depth interviews to capture every moment of the action.
Yep! Bring your mum, your mates or whoever else you'd like. Just keep in mind they will need to share your designated rest area. You can have a maximum of 3 people in your rest area at 1 time.
Absolutely, but there's a $30 parking fee per car. We recommend carpooling to save some dosh. Purchasing in advance is strongly recommended - with only one entry and one exit, wait times on the day can be significant.
Two options: sell your ticket privately, or take a credit toward next year's event.

How does the private transfer work?
There's a $75 transfer fee. Find your buyer, then email info@hardcoreharrys.com.au with:
- Your full name and the email on your registration
- The buyer's full name and email

We'll organise the rest for you.

How does the credit option work?
A percentage of your ticket value can be credited toward next year's event. Email info@hardcoreharrys.com.au and we'll cancel your registration and send through your credit code.

Any questions? Email info@hardcoreharrys.com.au and we'll sort it.
Everything you need to survive for the duration of how long you back yourself - water, meals, snacks, etc. After signing up you will be sent a mandatory & recommended gear list.
Yes, we have a coffee cart, food trucks, BBQ and a race stall on-site. However, we can't guarantee they'll be available on day 3... or day 4?
The course consists of 2 major climbs, with 1 very steep descent. The terrain is predominantly grassy, offering a soft yet uneven surface, interspersed with clusters of small rocks that require you to remain vigilant with each step.
Your race fee includes: a race bib, stickers, GPS tracking, 3m x 3m rest area access, medals, personalised photos and full access to vendors on the day (including a free complimentary tattoo from our on-site artist!)
You'll have a designated 3m x 3m space conveniently located near the starting line, giving you a personal area to set up however you like. This space is your sanctuary between loops--a place to rest, refuel, and recharge. At minimum we'd recommend a swag, a sleeping mat, a small table, water, food and a chair.
- Running shoes (trail shoes recommended)
- Race bib (supplied)
- Headtorch / Flashlight (between 8pm - 8am)
- Emergency whistle
- Mobile phone
- Clothing that covers your private parts
Participants must be 18 years or older to enter King of the Hill.
The race goes on, rain, hail or shine! However, in cases of extreme rain, there will be an alternative course.
We have trained medical staff on-site to assist with injuries, dehydration, or other health concerns.
Yes, we'll have a live leaderboard displayed on-site and updated in real-time via our event app so everyone can follow the action. The event will also be live streamed on YouTube so your family and friends can watch along.
